A Secret about DF'ing that Elders will NEVER tell you.
by Amazing inwhen i discussed this with some ex-jws in the past, they have pointed out to me that the following is not done in actual pracrice.
of course it is not done in practrice ... that is why i referred to it as a "secret" because elders do not normally disclose such information, either because they fear its effect, or because they have not thoroughly paid attention to the "pay attention" book.
in this post, i am not arguing about actual practice ... rather what the undisclosed, withheld, secretive information is ... and how being armed may allow """some""" jws to relax their conscience.. a secret that elders will not openly tell you.

We Don't Want to Know Why You're Leaving
by passwordprotected inour exit from the watch tower society was fairly speedy.
within about 3 months, we'd ceased attending meetings and lost all of our friends (apart from hobo ken and his wife).. what was shocking - and only confirmed that we were right to leave - was how our decision was met by our so-called friends.. we were leaving behind people whom we'd enjoyed friendship for over 20 years.
we were leaving behind friends who were closer to us than our own families were.

I'm an ex-dub in Dorset, England, which isn't a very good place to be an ex-dub
by Psychotic Parrot inmost people here in the poole/bournemouth area of dorset (and i know i'm generalising) are not very... well, inquiring minds seem to be an aquired taste around these parts.
i mean, there are lots of intelligent people, but they tend to be the ones who steer clear of 'the troof'.
those who are in 'the troof' around here don't tend to have the neccessary brain capacity required to realise they are in a cult & thus they don't leave in great numbers, & those who do leave tend to do so for shallow reasons (they want sex) as opposed to my reason for leaving (i realised it's all a bag of shite).

Would you die for someone else?
by LouBelle inso many times we hear " i'd die for you " or " i'd die for **insert name/parent/lover** but would you really?.
the death may be a painful one and ask yourself if somebody else really deserves your life.. when someone said that to me i told them they probably wouldn't, this person got a little offended and when asked if i would die for them i said "no".....that didn't go down too well.. .

russell...in his own words...... .
"i am very glad to have this particular opportunity of saying a word about some of the things in which we agree with our masonic friends, because we are speaking in a building dedicated to masonry, and we are also masons.. .
